Brenda M. Hayden, age 71 of Pass Christian, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

Brenda was born on April 2, 1953 in Gulfport. She studied at St. Paul’s Catholic School, Pass Christian High School, and St. Mary of the Pines.

Brenda was a kind and gentle soul who loved her family and cherished the moments spent with her loved ones. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bernard T. Hayden and Mary Elise Chopin Hayden; and her precious niece, Heather Elise Goodwin.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Mary H. Dickson (Dave) of Saucier and Christine Hayden of Pass Christian. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, Jennifer Tremblay (Michael), Catherine “Cat” Poole (Kasey Moles), and Lauren Rickard (David); great-niece, Alexandria Graham (Josh); and great-nephews, Everett and Ethan Rickard.

Brenda leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

A special thank you to the staff and caretakers at MSH and Vital Caring Group hospice for their loving care and support.

A private service will be held at a later date. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Hayden family.
