Brian Jeffrey Cadman, age 85, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Memorial Hospital in Biloxi.
Brian was born on March 12, 1941, in Maine to George Cadman and Harriet Louise Cadman. He graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn, Maine, where he began building the foundation for a life of service and dedication.
Brian proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served his country with honor for 22 years and retired at the rank of Technical Sergeant (E-6). During his military career, he was stationed in Hawaii, Vermont, Maryland, Mississippi, Alaska, and Iceland. His dedication and excellence earned him multiple commendations, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He was proud to have served his country.
Following his time in the service, Brian went on to teach radar maintenance, specializing in both the AN/TPQ-43 and the MSQ-77 systems. He also played an important role in helping develop the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Basic Radar Maintenance Course, leaving a lasting impact on those he trained.
Brian and his wife, Faye, shared 62 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on love, commitment, and family. Their story began when they met on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii, a memory that remained special to them throughout their lives.
While his children were younger and at home, Brian enjoyed spending his weekends fishing and on the water with his family, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime. He later continued his love of the outdoors through gardening, where he had a true green thumb and took great pride in growing fruit trees, often producing abundant crops in his backyard.
He was deeply devoted to his family and loved spending time with them. In his later years, he especially cherished time with his children and grandchildren, whether it was going out to dinner or enjoying visits to the casinos together.
Brian had a love for the mountains and spent many years traveling with his wife in their RV, frequently exploring scenic destinations across the country and creating lasting memories along the way. He especially loved returning to his home state of Maine and spending time with his family there.
Brian was a highly analytical thinker. If something needed to be fixed or a problem needed solving, he was always the one to step in and figure it out.
Brian was a proud father and grandfather who could never say enough about the accomplishments and education of his family. He took great joy in their successes and was always their biggest supporter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Harriet Louise Cadman; his sister, Beverly Wilkerson; and his brothers, George (Sonny) and Gordon Cadman.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Faye Cadman; his son, Jeffrey Bruce Cadman; and his daughter, Mary Leigh Schramko. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Alana Michelle Cadman, David Alexander Schramko, Tyler Jeffrey Cadman, and Mary Elizabeth Schramko; and great-grandchildren, Oakley Dianne Cadman and Weslynn Grace Cadman.
