Brian Alan Steinwinder, Jr., age 37 of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019 in Biloxi, MS.
He was born on October 2, 1982 in Biloxi, MS. He graduated from Mercy Cross High School in 2001 and attended MGCCC at Perk. He has three state titles in soccer: two-time high school state champ and one junior college state champ. He was a rigger at Performance Energy Services. He enjoyed God, fishing, hunting, soccer, being a dad, time with family and friends, arrow head hunting, boating, music, and also golf.
Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gloria Mae Steinwinder and Iris and Curtis Fountain; uncle, Freddie Steinwinder III; and great- uncle, Harry Steinwinder.
He is survived by his parents, Brian Alan Steinwinder, Sr. and Rebecca Fountain Chancey; daughters, Peyton and Madison; son, Noah; grandparent, Freddie Fritz Steinwinder, Jr.; and siblings, Daniel Curtis Steinwinder, Christopher Michael Steinwinder, Courtney Alise Steinwinder, Mathew Kai Steinwinder, and Stephanie D’aquin.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask to send donations to the Home’s of Grace Substance Abuse Treatment Center in Vancleave.
The family would like to extend a thank you to family, friends, Michael and Jennifer Mullins, Kovacevich’s, Kuluz’s, Vollmuth’s, and Bradford-O’Keefe for their care and compassion during this time.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Friends may visit one-hour prior. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
