Brian Strickland

Brian Strickland, age 62, of Lumberton passed away on December 18th, 2022. 

He was born January 15, 1960. Brian was employed by Blossman for 38 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. 

He is preceded in death by his father, J.B. Strickland; his mother, Catherine Lavera Strickland; mother-in-law, Rodella Thompson; his father-in-law, Thurman Thompson; and brother-in-law, Thurman Thompson, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Margie Strickland of Lumberton; one daughter, Melanie Barth of Olympia, WA; two sons, Jacob (Terri) Strickland of Biloxi and Joseph (Morgan) Strickland of Flora; five grandchildren, Micah (Brianna) Walley, Cela Neldon, Ali Strickland, Joshua Strickland, and Emma Strickland; one brother, Dale (Betty) Strickland of Laurel; two sisters, Vicky (Tom) Cheeks of Ellisville, Robin (Anthony) Moffett of Laurel; two brothers-in-law, David (Diane) Thompson of Seminary, Danny (Cindy) Thompson of Collins; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and his beloved dogs, Sadie and Stella. 

A funeral service officiated by Patrick Levine will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit from 9:30am until service time. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
