Bruce Pabon

Mr. Bruce Pabon, age 67, of Monroe, N.C., died Saturday, May 28, 2011, in Monroe, NC. Mr. Pabon was a native of Columbus, GA., a former longtime resident of Ocean Springs and a resident of Charlotte, NC for five years. He was a member, former state deputy and former Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council. Mr. Pabon was a longtime member of the Ocean Springs Lions Club and the Magnolia Model T Car Club in Ocean Springs. He was a retired salesperson for Lucent Communications Technology and a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Pabon and his parents, Carlos R. Pabon and Amanda Bynum Pabon. Survivors include his wife Judith Pabon, five daughters, Robin Pabon, Sabrina (John) Green, Tracy (Joe) O'Drain, Heather Dudley and Carla (Jason) Thornhill, a sister, Fran (Tom) Schauger, three stepchildren, Scott, Eric and Kim, twenty two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 2, 2011, from 5 pm until 7 pm, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, June 3, 2011, there will be a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, where friends may visit from 9 am until 10 am. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
