Buddy Jean Martin

Buddy Jean Martin, age 79, of Saucier died Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Gulfport. He was a retired sheet metal worker and was a member of the Local Union 441 of Mobile, Al. He was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lizana. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison Thomas Martin and Myrtis Gipson Martin; two grandsons, Ryan Lee Christopherson and Lane Ladner. Buddy is survived by his six children, Lee Dean Martin, Blaine D. Christopherson, Eugene Christopherson, Stacie Lindsay (Eugene), Sonya Martin, and Julie Martin; two sisters, Myrna McPherson and Delores Bates; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral service is Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the O’Neal Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe, where friends may visit one hour before the service.
