Buell "Rip" Weems

Buell "Rip" Weems, age 81, of Biloxi, MS, died Monday, October 28, 2013, in Biloxi. Mr. Weems was born in Troy, Alabama and had been a resident of Biloxi since 1966. He retired from the U. S. Air Force after 23 years of service with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Mr. Weems was preceded in death by his son, David Jones. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jean Weems; two daughters, Michelle (Marty) Fountain and Melinda Buchanan Dyal; two sons, Michael (Karen) Weems and Martin Weems; his brother, Tony (Judy) Weems; eighteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren. Visitation is Sunday, November 3, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
