Calvin F. Sanchez

Calvin F. Sanchez, 78, of Biloxi, MS passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Mr. Sanchez was a native of Donaldsonville, LA and has been a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past 25 years. He will be remembered as an excellent tailor and for his loving and caring spirit. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank J. and Bertha Cavalier Sanchez; his sisters, Mildred Sanchez, Isabel Aucoin, Lera Greer and Doris Messina; and his brothers, Vernon and Raymond Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez’s survivors include numerous nieces and nephews; many friends at Seashore Oaks and Leggett UMC; and close friends and caretakers, Lance Lowd and Sherry Creel Carothers. A Memorial Mass will be held at Nativity BVM Cathedral on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow at Leggett United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to Leggett Memorial UMC, 1410 Beach Blvd., Biloxi, MS 39530 or to Nativity BVM Cathedral, 870 Howard Ave., Biloxi, MS 39530. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
