Carl Eugene Guttierrez, Jr.

Carl Eugene Guttierrez, Jr., 67, of Biloxi, MS passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in Biloxi, MS surrounded by loved ones.

Carl was a US Navy veteran, a loving father, brother and uncle.  He never met a stranger and was loved by all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl E. Guttierrez, Sr.; his mother, Sadie E. Wargo; his grandmother Pearl Dear and a sister, Carolyn Whitten.

Carl is survived by his daughter, Patricia L. Parker (Eric); his grandchildren, Noah R. Parker and Bonnie L. Parker; his sisters, Rebecca Lewallen (Lou) and Jean Bates; his nieces, Elizabeth Simmons, April Bates and Melissa Bankester; his nephews, David Whitten, Jr. and Doug Bates and many great nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express special thanks to the Biloxi VA Medical Center; in particular, the many nurses and staff at the Community Living Center, whom he considered to be his extended family.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the O’Neal Road location of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport, MS.
