Mr. Carlton Thomas Hendrickson, age 71, of Biloxi, passed away on Thursday, April 18th, 2024.

Mr. Hendrickson was born in New York, but he was a longtime resident of Sarasota, Florida. He and his wife semi-retired to Biloxi, MS in 2022 which was his favorite vacation spot. Carl was a member of the Widow Sons. His greatest achievement was coaching girls softball which he did for 30+ years including travel ball, high school and college. He loved fishing and playing video poker.

Before his passing he worked and spent much time at the Biloxi Shuckers stadium where his wife worked. He was affectionately known as a Biloxi Shuckers Ambassador and told everyone he came in contact with about them.

Mr. Hendrickson was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Burroughs; his twin brother, Tommy Hendrickson; and his brother, Billy Blackwell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Pam Hendrickson; four children, Carla (Sherry) Hendrickson, Carlton (Jessica)  Hendrickson II, Michele Hendrickson (Andy DeRamirez) and Megan Brown.  He had five grandchildren, Wesley Combs, Jade Hendrickson, Bella Burch, Camden Higgins and his newest, 8 month old Jordan DeRamirez.    

A Celebration of Life will be held in Sarasota, Florida at the end of September at a time to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Back Bay Mission in Biloxi which held a special place in his heart and is one of the reasons for moving to Mississippi.
