Catherine Lanelle Wilson-Brown

Catherine Lanelle Wilson-Brown, age 61, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016. Catherine was born in New Mexico on February 1, 1955. She was a longtime resident of Bonnie Chapel Community and Vancleave. Catherine retired from Beck Enterprises in Dallas, TX as an accountant. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Iris Wilson. Catherine was blessed with a son, Michael Boren; her husband, Darwin D. Cheatham; one sister, Sherry Wilson; one brother, Dr. Dennis (Debbie) Wilson; and a granddaughter, Alyssa Boren. As Catherine's illness began, she fought it bravely to the end. Her husband cared for her, never leaving her side. She knew God loved her, and is now back in his loving arms. Catherine's service will be held Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Bonnie Chapel United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will occur one hour prior, from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery in the Bonnie Chapel Community. The Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe is in charge.
