Charles Burton Brown, 76, of Biloxi, MS died on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Born on December 28, 1948, in Delhi, Louisiana, Charles proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force for 22 years.
After retiring from the military, he worked for many years in surveillance at the Isle of Capri, known as the “eye in the sky.”
Charles was an active member of Popps Ferry Baptist Church and enjoyed leading the singing. He also acted as groundskeeper until declining health required him to step back.
A passionate golfer, Charles loved to travel and visited many parts of the world, including England, Germany, Italy, Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska.
The great loves of his life were his wife, Trudy, of 52 years; his beloved son, Ian; his dear daughter-in-law, Julie; and his much-adored grandson, Liam. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his mother, Fannie Brown; and his sisters: Linda Megaha (Brian), Charlene Armstrong (Gary), Barbara Dunn (Scott), and Deborah Brown.
Special thanks to Dr. Rebecca Rose and Nurse Practitioner Nikki, whose kindness and dedication sustained him through many health challenges in recent years.
May he rest in the peace he so richly deserves.
