Charles Gregg Byrd

Mr. Charles Gregg Byrd, 66, of Biloxi, was called home to our Lord Wednesday, August 16, 2006 in Biloxi. Mr. Byrd was a native of Purvis, MS and a longtime resident of Biloxi. He was retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant and was a Vietnam Veteran. He also retired from Biloxi National Cemetery as the supervisor of field and grounds. Mr. Byrd is survived by his wife, Aurora Byrd; three sons, Richard Byrd and his wife Anne, Larry Byrd, and Phillip Byrd and his wife Tammie; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Cheryl Dobson and Ellen Nobles; and a brother, Tommy Byrd. Visitation will be Monday, August 21, 2006 from 6:00 til 9:00 pm in the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. The funeral service will be Tuesday, August 22 at 10:00 am in the Pass Road Chapel. Burial to follow with military honors in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
