Charles Howard Roberts, III

Charles Howard Roberts, III, 68, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024. Charles was born February 4, 1956 to Charles Howard Roberts, Jr. and Tillie Davis Roberts at Johnson Air Force Base in Japan.

Charles was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. He graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 1975. In January 2024, he retired as a heavy haul truck driver. In his free time, Charles enjoyed watching college football, Nascar, and landscaping.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Howard Roberts, Jr.  and Tillie Davis Roberts; and sister, Carrie Jane Roberts.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Carol Morgan Roberts; children, Marlena (Eli) Roberts Savage and Tony Roberts; grandchildren, Jackson Eli Savage and Drew Savage; and his loving pets, Ozzy, Wilson, and Pearl.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Crestlawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Charles’ name to MD Anderson Cancer Center and the American Heart Association.
