Charles Henry Rogers

Charles Henry Rogers will always be remembered as a devoted husband, proud Marine, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose strength, loyalty, and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Born on April 16, 1938, Charles lived a life defined by dedication to his family, service to his country, and love for the people around him. On May 1, 2026, he peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of honor, resilience, and unwavering love.

Charles shared a deep and enduring love with his beloved wife, Eucharist Rogers, who preceded him in death. Together they built a life rooted in love, commitment, and family. Their bond was admired by all who knew them, and there is comfort in knowing they are reunited once again.

A proud United States Marine, Charles carried the values of honor, courage, and discipline throughout his life. His military service was a source of pride, and the integrity he embodied as a Marine remained evident in the way he cared for and protected those he loved.

Charles also found great joy in bowling, a pastime that brought him friendship, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Whether spending time at the bowling alley or surrounded by family, he appreciated life’s simple but meaningful moments. He loved jazz and Scooby Doo, a show he loved watching. Charles was also a baseball enthusiast, specifically the Atlanta Braves.

Above all else, Charles loved his family deeply. He was a guiding presence whose wisdom, strength, and love will continue to live on through those he leaves behind.

Charles is survived by his children, Frederick Douglas Sadler, Nicole “Nikki” Jordan, Jason Barnell Barker, and Darnisha ”DJ” Jaquay Palmer; along with his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi, Mississippi, followed by a 2:30 p.m. graveside service.

Though he will be deeply missed, Charles Henry Rogers leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion that will never be forgotten.

May he rest in eternal peace beside his beloved Eucharist, forever honored and forever loved.
