Charles David Schmermund

Charles David Schmermund, 66, of Long Beach, died Friday, August 30, 2024 in Gulfport, MS.

Mr. Schmermund was born in Orlando, FL and had been a resident of MS Gulf Coast most of his life.

He was a retired boat captain.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Schmermund and Wilma Guidry Schmermund; step daughter, Tiffany Starkey Hall and grandson, Nicholas David Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Ann Tillman Schmermund; a daughter, Jullian Schmermund; a stepson, Christopher David Fagan; a sister, Sandra Dobbs; three brothers, Larry, Russell and Jeff ,and five granddaughters.

A private service for Mr. Schmermund will be held at a later date.
