Charlie P. Bond Sr. departed this life March 14, 2011 in Gulfport, MS. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Lynn Bond, and his parents , Charlie and Ophelia Bond . . He is survived by his sisters Myrtle (Charles) Saucier of Gulfport, MS, Mary Eaves of Biloxi, MS. And Melba Barrett of Gulfport, MS, his children Charlie “Chuck” Bond Jr. (Donna) of Saucier, MS, Kenneth Wayne Bond of Gulfport, MS and Rebecca Bond Sanders of Naples, FL., his grandchildren Brandon (Jana) Dearman of Lizana, MS., Amber Lynn Bond of Hattiesburg, MS., Andrea Deanna Bond of Saucier, MS., and Jonathan Blake Bond of Richmond , KY., and great-grandchildren Lacey and Kelsie Dearman. He was also loved by his numerous nieces and nephews. He was of Baptist faith and was a loving husband, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather. Visitation will be Thursday March 17, 2011 from 2:00 to 3:00 at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home on O'Neal Road Gulfport, with service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Saucier Cemetery.
