Charlotte B. Green

Mrs. Charlotte B. Green, age 90, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015, in Gautier, MS. Mrs. Green was a native of Pennsylvania, former longtime resident of Okeechobee, FL and a resident of the coast since 2010. She was a former interior designer and member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph N. Schmalzel; second husband, Charles C. Green; and son-in-law, Sonny Kirkpatrick. Survivors inlcude two daughters, Ellen Kirkpatrick and Kathy (Harold Wayne) Foster; a son, Joseph T. Schmalzel; two grandchildren, Charlotte (Steve) Davidson and Joe (Chrystal) Kirkpatrick; two great-grandsons, Ryan and Sean; eight step-children; and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 10, from 4pm until 5pm, with a 5pm Memorial Service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to any veterans organization or arthritis foundation
