In Loving Memory of a Bright Spirit, Chelsea Annabelle Aultman Sadler: A Beloved Daughter, Mother and Friend.
It is with aching hearts and profound love that we share the passing of a truly unique and radiant soul, Chelsea Annabelle Aultman Sadler of Sumrall, Mississippi, who was taken from us far too soon.
A free spirit with an artist’s soul, Chelsea found beauty in the world where others might not look. She loved art in every form, her hands always busy bringing color and joy into the lives of others. From swirling tie-dye creations to treasures unearthed in nature, she had an eye for the remarkable—scouring creeks, rivers and hills for rocks, minerals, and Native American artifacts that told stories of the earth.
She was a skilled woodworker, known in her community as a partner in crafting creative armadillo traps, each one a testament to her humor, ingenuity, and dedication. Her coworkers at the Hattiesburg Home Depot have labeled her as the happiest employee they ever had the pleasure to work with. Whether she was traveling, listening to music, or laughing until tears rolled down her cheeks, Chelsea lived life fully, vibrantly, and with deep love.
Her greatest joy, however, was her daughter Lily, who remains a shining beacon of her mother’s light. Lily carries forward her spirit—curious, colorful, joyful, and endlessly loved.
A Memorial Service will be held at Crosspoint Community Church, 3211 MS-589 Hattiesburg, MS 39402 on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. A celebration of Chelsea’s light and life will follow from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church. All who knew and loved her are warmly invited to gather and share in the joy of remembering her.
In true Chelsea fashion, guests are encouraged to wear whatever is most comfortable, colorful, and if possible, tie-dye—a tribute to the way she brightened every space she entered.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that she is now a beloved child of God, wrapped in eternal light and peace.
She will be missed beyond words and remembered beyond measure.
