Cheryl Ann “Sherry Bell” Dubaz, was born March 29, 1950, in Picayune, Mississippi. She peacefully passed away surrounded by family and friends on August 30, 2026, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Cheryl’s life was defined by the love she shared with her family and dear friends. She had a generous heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and a gift for making everyone around her feel welcome and at home. Throughout the years, her home became a haven for many- a place where family and friends could always gather, find comfort, share stories, and most of all, laugh together. Cheryl had a way of bringing people together and making them feel like they belonged. Her warmth, laughter, and genuine love for others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eva Nell Emile; her sister, Linda Emile; and her former spouse, Michael Dubaz.

Cheryl is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Breal (Phil Schulze); her bonus children, Michael Dubaz (Amanda), Ramona Grice (Perry), and Linley Forehand (Jonathan); her loving sisters, Cindy Yenewine, Toni Wheeler (Randy), Devoted brother: Ronnie Emile (Darlene) and James Emile (Joyce).

She took great pride and joy in her cherished grandchildren, Dallas, Connor, Blythe, Savanah, Ava Marie, Juliana, Saje, Bryleigh, Carlie and her great-grandson, Baylor. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Meagan, Alex, Jimmy D, Christopher, and Jeremiah. She held a special place in her heart for her beloved friends, the "Crazy Ole Ladies," and her faithful pets, Max and Gabby.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026. Friends are invited to gather at 11:00 am, where the celebration begins at 12:30 pm at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the doctors and especially to the dedicated and compassionate nursing staff of the ICU at Memorial Hospital of Gulfport.
