Christie Lynn Laferriere

Christie Lynn Laferriere, 37, lifelong resident of D’Iberville, passed away Monday, August 31, 2026 in Biloxi, Mississippi.

She was born April 26, 1989 in Biloxi, MS, to Adrienne McMahon and Matthew Fayard. Christie attended D’Iberville High School as a Warrior. She worked 10 years at D’Iberville Hardee’s as a manager and 7 years at Rock N Roll Sushi. She enjoyed evenings at home with the boys and her cat, Bertha, having a glass of wine and doing movie nights with the boys. She liked crossword puzzles. Christie enjoyed being around her family most of all. She had a strong work ethic and worked hard to provide for her family.

Christie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy and David Fayard, Judy Rowland, Linda Beaulieu and Gman Laferriere, and Butchie Jankowski; stepdad, Thomas McMahon; and aunt, Jesse Laferriere.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mom, Adrienne McMahon and Matthew Fayard; Siblings, Taylor and Tiffany and family, Dustin Fayard, Steven Fayard and kids, and Megan and Billy Stepro; uncle, Cody and Jayden Laferriere; aunts, Ashley and Jr Williams and family, Devon and Wess Laferriere, Rebecca and daughter, Alyssa Rowland; grandfather, Ken Rowland; and multiple family that aren’t blood but they were always her nephews’ friends, turned into adopted children; and her two best friends, Leonard and Umyma Harvey, who are also lost for words.

She was always a light for those who knew her and her beautiful heart will carry on. Everyone was family to her and was treated like that, blood or not. She never met a stranger.

Thank you from our family to you, ahead of time. Thank you for being part of Christie Lynn’s life. This means so much to our family. To have to start life without her, I’m so grateful that she brought joy to all of you. I know she did to our family.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior.
