Christina Bernadette Lamas

Miss. Christina B. Lamas, 84, of D'Iberville, MS, died Friday, September 25, 2009, in Biloxi. Miss. Lamas was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and retired from Harrison County School District. Miss. Lamas was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Lucy Sonnier Lamas, Sr.; and two sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Charles and Lucy "Mae" Dowling. She is survived by her brother, Sidney (Carol) Lamas, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Aldoph and Aileen Toche. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 28, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where friends may visit from 9 a.m until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
