Christopher Marc Smith

Christopher Marc Smith, age 39 of Pass Christian passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 in New Orleans. Christopher earned a degree in sales. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, reading and most of all spending time cooking for his family and friends. Chris was loved by many. He was very kindhearted and compassionate man. He would literally give the shirt off back to anyone in need. Chris liked to talk, telling stories and jokes to all that would listen. He never met a stranger. Chris is survived by his parents Michael and Susan Smith; his soulmate of 17 years, Elizabeth Bingham; his brothers Brandon Smith and fiancé Nicole Brown, Kevin Smith and Chrissy; his nephews whom he adored, Sam Smith and Johnathan Brown; and his grandparents Ralph and Joyce Smith. He is also survived by his great uncle W.H. Smith, his two favorite uncles Donald Rainey Jr. (Leila) and Judson Rainey; his favorite aunt Meredith Anderson (Lloyd). He was predeceased by grandparents Mary and Charles Flickner, Donald and Vicki Rainey; great- grandparents Wallace and Matilda Smith; and many cousins and his beloved little dog "Scraps". The funeral service will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.
