In Loving Memory of Claudia Lizeth Escobar Vasquez - “Liz” August 17, 1990 – June 14, 2026
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Claudia Lizeth Escobar Vasquez, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the age of 35 at Medical Center New Orleans.
Liz was born on August 17, 1990, in Cali, Colombia. She pursued her higher education by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from ICESI University.
After making her home in Saucier, Mississippi, Liz devoted herself to her family and her work. She served as the Office Manager for ESMA Construction, where she worked with unwavering dedication, professionalism, and care. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine concern for others made her an invaluable part of the company and a cherished friend to many.
Above all else, Liz’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, loving daughter, caring sister, proud aunt, and most importantly, a deeply devoted mother. Her daughter, Emma, was the light of her life, and Liz poured endless love, guidance, and support into every moment they shared. Liz will be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart, strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her presence brightened every room, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Fanny Vasquez Sanchez.
Liz is survived by her loving husband, Julian Escobar; her daughter, Emma Escobar; her father, Jairo Escobar; her sisters, Diana Escobar and Julieth Escobar; her niece, Mariana Escobar; and her cherished cats, Ququin and Luffy. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever treasure her memory.
Though her time with us was far too short, Liz’s love, compassion, and beautiful spirit will remain a lasting legacy. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
Services will be held Friday, June 19, 2026, at Bradford-O'Keefe funeral home on Pass Rd, Biloxi at 7:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 5:00 PM.
