Clifford Charles Chinn

Clifford Charles Chinn, age 75, of Biloxi, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

A lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast, he attended St. Martin High School and built a life filled with love, laughter, and friendship. Clifford was a devoted husband, father, and friend, cherished by all who knew him. He was known for his “grumpy” sense of humor, always ready with a playful tease or a witty remark, and he brought joy to those around him.

Clifford found happiness in spending time with family and friends, watching cars, and cheering—sometimes loudly—at the New Orleans Saints games. He loved riding motorcycles until his vision declined, but his spirit remained undiminished. Clifford was a proud member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Ocean Springs, where his presence will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Marco Chinn, Sr. and Lizabell Champagne Chinn. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Lynn Chinn; daughter, Amanda (Jason) Moran; son, Clifford John (Amy Broussard) Chinn; stepdaughter, Laura Peters; stepson, Dean (Anita) Skelton; sister, Ethel Mulkey; brothers, Marco (Roxanne) Chinn and Terrill (Doreen) Chinn; grandchildren, Sidneigh and Bradley Moran, Alyssa Chinn, Thomas and Jake Peters, Daniel, Darren, and Mason Skelton; and great-grandchildren, Liliana Peters, Hayden, Skylynn, Nolan, and Oliver Skelton. Clifford’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.

Services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs at 12:00 p.m. Friends may visit two hours prior. A graveside service will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
