Clyde "Walter" Barney

Mr. Clyde “Walter” Barney, age 72, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Walter was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He formerly worked for the Arkansas Air National Guard and spent 19 years in Saudia Arabia with the Saudia Arabia Airlines. He also worked for 15 years at Huntington Ingalls. Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Lilly and Connie Howard Barney. Survivors include his wife, Theda Barney, of Ocean Springs, stepson, Matthew Hodge of Deerpark, TX, two stepgrandchildren, Matthew and Brittany Hodge, both of TX, brother, Connie H. Barney of Oklahoma City, OK and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, December 26, 2014, from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm, with a 2:30 pm service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
