It is with deep and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Craddock Lewis Wescovich Jr., age 62, of Ocean Springs. He left this world to be with the angels, where he is now at peace and free from pain.
Craddock was a simple, hardworking man who never met a stranger. He had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Fiercely loyal and protective of those he loved, he was the true definition of a "ride or die" friend and family member. His heart was larger than life, and he touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved good country music, spending time with family and friends, and sharing a great meal. He often said the way to his heart was through good food, family, and friends. Although he may not have had great material wealth, he lived with a richness of spirit that made him feel like a millionaire. His kindness, love, and generosity made him richer than most.
Craddock was preceded in death by his mother, Veronica Elaine Fayard Rushing; his father, Craddock E. Wescovich Sr.; his stepfather, William J. Rushing; and his brother, Leonard John Wescovich.
He is lovingly survived by his sister, Jeanne Smith (Carl); his brother, Wilbur Wescovich (Madonna); his brothers, William "Billy" Rushing Jr. and Bobby Rushing (Jennifer); along with a cherished niece, many nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Craddock will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His love, loyalty, and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Until we meet again, may you rest in peace. With all our love, your family and so many friends.
Private services will be held at a later date.
