Craig Richard Balius, Sr.

Craig Richard Balius, age 66 of Biloxi, MS passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at his home in Biloxi with his family by his side.

Craig was born July 28, 1959 in Biloxi, MS and graduated from Biloxi High School Class of 1977. He was a retired City of Biloxi Firefighter. Craig loved fishing, traveling and watching the sun rise and set, especially from his porch or pier (his paradise)!

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Elisabeth Balius; and his brother, David Balius.

Craig is survived by his best friend/high school sweetheart and wife, Carol Boudreaux Balius; his children, Craig (Natalie) Balius II and Stefany B. O’Hara; his grandchildren, Julianna Balius, Sophia Balius, Michael Wes O’Hara and Charlotte O’Hara; his brother, Mark Balius; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 5:00 pm. Friends may visit from 4:00 pm until service time.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Allison Wall, PA Bailey Stokes Morris PA, and all the nurses at Hematology Oncology Partners, Dr. Bobby Tullos, Pulmonologist, Amedysis Home Health and Gentiva Hospice, especially RNS, Tessa, Madonna and Hailey.
