Curtis Lewis Robb "Curt", age 60, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2025. Curt was born October 25, 1965, in Oklahoma City, OK. He spent his childhood years in Oklahoma City, Topeka, KS, Bend, OR and Katy, TX. It was in Texas that he graduated from Katy High School (KHS), where he proudly wore Katy Tigers jerseys for both the football and baseball teams and developed many life-long friends with whom he stayed in close contact.
In 1995, he graduated college from The University of Texas at Arlington; however, his fan loyalty was always with the Oklahoma Sooners. After college, he began a career in Sales with Specialty Products Insulation (SPI) in Dallas, TX, where one of his responsibilities was to help entertain SPI clients at the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It was during one of these events where he met his wife, Michele Elizabeth Boynton. In 1999, they relocated to Biloxi, MS where they married and started a family.
In 2002, Curt began a lengthy career of 23 years with Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS where he was a Buyer. He assisted with numerous Navy ship christenings and developed many lasting friendships with fellow shipbuilders.
Curt was most proud of the legacy he created with the birth of his two sons, Hayden Lewis Robb and Carson Gaines Robb. He was a dedicated baseball dad and followed his boy's baseball careers which began on the Little League fields in Vancleave, MS all through the southeast with Tournament Ball, Vancleave Bulldog middle and high school ball and finally to Hammond, LA where both boys were recruited to play for the Southeastern Louisiana University Lions baseball team. Nothing in the world made him prouder to talk about than the accomplishments of his two sons. He was often concerned that as much as he loved to talk about Hayden and Carson, people would think he was boasting, but at the end of the day, he wanted people to know how proud he was, not for his own glory, but for his family.
Curt was an inspiration for his boys, imparting firm support, and life lessons that shaped the path to becoming a man. Through their time together, he nurtured faith—encouraging trust in something greater and instilling morals rooted in spiritual values. He taught practical skills, from fixing things around the house to explaining everyday challenges. His legacy continues in the character and hands-on knowledge he passes on, helping his sons grow into capable and honorable young men.
Curt found happiness in the simple moments he shared with his family and friends. He was more excited to sit in the comfort of his den with his two sons and wife to watch a football game and share stories full of laughter than he was to go on a family vacation. His larger-than-life personality often led to memorable stories that he loved to act out to give people the ability to visually imagine the story he wanted to tell. Anyone who had the chance to hear a Curt Robb story knows what it was like to truly feel they were there at that moment with him. With most conversations he had, he wanted people to not only hear his message but feel it. When Curt loved, he loved with a deep passion and a full heart. All those who received his love understand how passionate he was about the people he genuinely cared for and what he would do to bring happiness to their life. He was not afraid to say, “I love you.”
Curt was predeceased by his father George Douglas Robb and sister Renee Elaine Dempsey. Survivors include his wife Michele, his sons Hayden of Baton Rouge, LA, Carson of Vancleave, MS, and his brother Jason Raper of Fort Worth, TX, along with numerous other much beloved family members.
