Cynthia Jo Schafhirt

Cynthia Jo Schafhirt, age 63, of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025.

Cynthia was born on February 12, 1962, in Gulfport. She graduated from St. John High School and was a custodian at Harrison County School District. Cynthia loved to thrift, rescue stray cats, and work in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph F. Fasold and Faye Jean Fasold; her brother, Danny; and sister, Angie.

Survivors include her husband, William M. Schafhirt; children, Brooke Schafhirt, Kayla Schafhirt, and Jessice Burdine; grandchildren, Skylar Burdine, Lily Condon, and Raven Paulin; great-grandchildren, Beckham Paulin, Finley Paulin, and Ledger Paulin; sister, Celia Taylor; and her loving cats.
