Dale E. Hanshew, 65, of Long Beach. MS, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and son was born on January 25, 1959, and passed away on January 31, 2024, after a short illness.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Adam F. Hanshew, Sr. and a son Alex Hanshew.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 37 years, Veronica Ann Hanshew, his mother, Lucy L. Hanshew of Danese, WV; a son Matthew (Laura) Hanshew of Alta, WV; a grandson, Andrew Hanshew of Georgia; a brother, Adam (Monica) Hanshew of Danese, WV; a sister, Suzi (Derick) King of Fairdale, WV.  He is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Matthew (Patricia) Grey of Sugarland, TX; Austin (Esther) Cottle of Baytown, TX and a sister-in-law, Nora (Allie) Stephenson of Dunbar, WV; two nieces, Felicia (Jordan) Pugh of Greensboro, NC; Jessica Grey of TX; four nephews, Jacob Smith of  Dunbar, WV; Lucas Smith of Ohio; Isaac of Danese, WV; Carl Grey of Austin, TX and two grandnieces and three grand nephews.

A Friends and Family gathering will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, MS on March 1, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, Dale requested donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
