S/Sgt. Dallas Ramsey Pauls, USAF, age 31, of Sumter, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, in Sumter.
Dallas was a native of Vancleave and a 2002 graduate of Vancleave High School. He also graduated from MGCCC, Jackson County Campus and was attending Colorado Technical University. He was currently serving in the US Air Force for the past ten years and served two deployments in Afghanistan.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lawrence Alfred Pauls and Rev. Edward "Doc" Tyndall.
Survivors include his mother, Stacey (Lee) Wheatley, father, Daniel (Terrie) Pauls, fiancee`, S/Sgt. Kristi Gouge, grandparents, Edna Carolyn Tyndall, William Martin, Fay Pauls, Paul and Ann Mathes and Darrell and Marie Shows, two sisters, Jessica (Evan) Pauls and Samantha Allen, three stepsisters, Amber Ranew, Amber Wheatley and Megan Wheatley, a stepbrother, Dustin Alexander and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 13, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., with a 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Memorial Service, all at Center Pointe Church, Highway 57, in Ocean Springs.
Dallas had a passion for soccer as a player and a fan. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to Vancleave Soccer Booster Club, P.O. Box 5667, Vancleave, MS 39565.
