Darlene Joy Fulton

Darlene Joy Fulton, 81, of Biloxi, MS, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Darlene was a native of California until moving to Biloxi, where she met and married Gary A. Fulton Sr. in 1963 and made Biloxi her home.

Darlene was a devoted wife and mother. In her free time, she loved tending the many flower beds around her home and had a flair for interior decorating. Her house was proudly known as the “prettiest house on the block.” Darlene loved to travel and spend time with her family.

Darlene proudly served the men and women of the US Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base and the many children at Biloxi Public Schools during her food service career.

Darlene is preceded in death by her beloved parents, William and Vada Lamar (CA); brothers, Mac Lamar and Larry Lamer (CA); and sisters, Carol Koplin (FL) and Velma Grider (CA).

Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Gary A. Fulton Sr.; son, Gary A. Fulton Jr., and wife, Anne Fulton; grandson, Andrew Fulton, and wife, Sarah Fulton; granddaughter, Gabrielle Fulton and daughter, Tina M. Fobes, husband, Robert T. Fobes; granddaughter, Shelby Richardson; and grandson, Ryan Richardson.

A service will be held at 2 PM at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, October 30, 2026. Friends are invited to visit from 1 pm till service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the Fulton family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Biloxi.
