David Lynn Crochet

David Lynn Crochet, age 74, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026.

David was born on June 20, 1952, to Gloria Cruso and Dewey Crochet. He graduated from Biloxi High School and dedicated 40 years of service to Ingalls Shipbuilding before retiring.

David enjoyed spending time fishing, especially for lemon fish, and was a devoted Elvis Presley fan. He will be remembered for the joy he found in the simple things he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria Cruso and Dewey Crochet, and his stepson, Mac Cruso.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Crochet; his stepson, Willie Cruso; his step-grandchildren, Marc Cruso Jr. and Darren Cruso; his great-grandchildren, Rowen and Harlynn; and his brothers, Chris Crochet (Mary Jo) and Keith Crochet.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the home of Chris and Mary Jo.
