David L. Hilton

Mr. David L. (Dave) Hilton, age 55, of Gautier, MS., died Monday, January 10, 2005, at his residence. He was born on June 22, 1949, in Biloxi, MS., and has been a lifelong residence of Jackson County. Mr. Hilton was a 1967 graduate of St. Martin High School. He was retired from Chevron Texaco Refinery, Pascagoula, MS. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Hilton was preceded in death by his parents, Brittie and Alton Hilton, Sr., and a grandson, Andrew Keller. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lora Hilton of Gautier, MS., daughters, Angel Perryman (Jeff), Stacy Hilton, all of Baton Rouge, LA., Cindy Emch (Tom) of Saucier, MS., Chrissy Sharp (Jeremy) of Gautier, MS., stepdaughters, Carol Bennett (Tommy), Dana Nelson, all of Vancleave, stepson, Van Nelson (Jackie) of Lexington, MS., sister, Alice Hill (Billy) of D'Iberville, MS., brothers, Alton (Buddy) Hilton (Peggy) of D'Iberville, MS., Russell Hilton (Rae Nell) of Baton Rouge, LA., grandchildren, Kevin Keller, Jr., Tiffany Keller, Katelynn Perryman, Gabrielle Hilton, Hunter Perryman and Halie Emch, stepgrandchildren, Austin Bennett, Corey Bennett, Christopher Nelson and Jessica Nelson. Visitation will be Saturday, January 15, 2005, from 12 Noon until 2 PM, with a 2 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to one's favorite charity.
