David Lester Hudson

Mr. David L. Hudson, 71, of Biloxi, MS, died Thursday, June 2, 2011, in Biloxi. Mr. Hudson was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and retired from McElroy Machine & Winch Manufacturing where he was employed as a machinist. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and the N.R.A. Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his parents, Travis and Gertrude Evans Hudson; and two brothers, Earl Hudson and John T. Hudson. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Vicki Hudson; daughters, Deanna (Lloyd, Jr.) Helveston, and Karen (Edmund, Jr.) Huguet; son, Terry W. (Dallas) Hudson; sister, Shirley Clark; brother, Carlos "Tot" (Earlene) Hudson; and nine grandchildren, Lloyd III, Megan, Tori (John), Taryn, Chloe, Cale, Conner, Cole and Brooklyn. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to Cross Roads Baptist Church Building Fund, 17480 Lamey Bridge Road, Biloxi, MS 39532-8620. Funeral services will be Monday, June 6, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Coalville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
