David A. Talley

David A. Talley, age 53, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, and moved to Keesler, AFB with his family in 1973. He was a Biloxi High School graduate and earned a degree in Business Administration from USM. David began his career with Delchamps in the produce department and advanced to manager over his twelve years of employment. David then became employed with Chevron as an operator and eventually became head operator during his 20 years of employment. David was an avid boater, fisherman and an automobile enthusiast. He deeply loved his family, friends and pets. David was preceded in death by his parents, Donald E. and Barbara Byars Talley. He is survived by his sister, Jennifer (Kimbel) Rich of Biloxi; brother, Michael Talley of Shreveport, LA; his former spouse, Tess Lawrence; his significant other Deanna Wallace; two nephews, Joseph and Ian Rich; and great nephew, Bentley Rich-Avant. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 2159 E Pass Rd. A, Gulfport, MS 39507. Visitation is Friday, September 8, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017, at the funeral home chapel where friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park View and sign register book at www.bradfordokeefe.com.
