Deborah Joy Smith, 61, of Biloxi and formerly Waveland died Monday, June 6, 2016 in Bay St. Louis after a brief illness. She was born February 14, 1955 in New Orleans, LA.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine Ginard Meyers; her father, James Edward Smith, and step-father, John J. Meyers.
Debi was retired from the U.S. Air Force and served as an Honor Guard. She loved fishing and enjoyed working with the special needs fishing rodeo. She was an artist taking pictures of sunshines that always seemed to have crosses in them. She has several of them registered in the Library of Congress.

She leaves behind many friends who loved her dearly and her loving pet, Sunshine; her fishing buddy, Marcelline Nicholson; and special friends, Constance Stimits, Suzanne Kumashiro and Johnny and Beverly Davis.
The graveside service will be Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street is in charge of arrangements.
