Deborah R. Tootle

Mrs. Debbie Tootle, age 72, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on August 12, 2026, in Ocean Springs.

Debbie was born on October 9, 1953, in Biloxi, MS, to I’dest and Peggy LeBlanc. She graduated from St. Martin High School in 1972. She was employed for 30 years, alongside her husband, Doug Tootle, at Appliance Service in Ocean Springs. After the death of her husband, Doug, she worked in Child Nutrition for seventeen plus years in the Ocean Springs School District. Debbie was an avid lover of country music and an active member of the Biloxi French Club.

Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas K. Tootle, father, I’dest LeBlanc Jr., and her sister, Rhonda Robertson.

Survivors include her mother, Peggy LeBlanc, daughter, Merry Gutierrez (Pablo), grandchildren, Antonio, Maria, Mateo, Kike, Ariana, Mia and Stormi Gutierrez and nieces, Stefanie, Robin, Renee, Tracy, Samantha, and Adrienne.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 10 am until 11 am, with an 11 am chapel service, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
