Debra Lynn Huggins

Debra Lynn Huggins, 62, of Gulfport, MS passed away, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in Gulfport after a two year battle with cancer. She was born in Gastonia, NC to Jean Dellinger and the late Frank Dellinger, Jr. She was a graduate of Dallas High in Dallas, NC, class of 1971. She worked for J C Penney Co. for over 37 years. Deb was a devout Catholic and a member of St. James Catholic Church where she attended Adoration for over 20 years and also sang in the choir for many years which gave her great joy. Deb never met a stranger. She touched so many lives with her kindness and love. She will be sadly missed by so many. Survivors include her mother, Jean A. Jones and step-father, Lofton Jones of Gulfport; a brother, Chris W. Dellinger and his wife, Kim; two nephews, Brandon Dellinger and Alex Dellinger; a step-sister, Jerilon Young and her husband, Dane; three step-brothers, Steven Jones and his wife, Gayle, Jeffrey Jones and his wife, Dianne, Gil Jones and his wife, Wanda; two aunts, Polly Bridges and Martha Higgins; close friends, Bobby White and Robin White Webb, who she grew up with, special friends, Myra Phillips, Diane Shelton, Rachel Barnett, Elaine Cross, and many other friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 6, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 A.M.
