Dolores "Dorie" Inez Kneale Smith

Dolores “Dorie” Smith , age 94, of Biloxi, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025.

Dolores was born October 8, 1930 to Inez Boney Kneale and Joseph Kneale. She was raised and lived her whole life on Biloxi Back Bay.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Sr; her son, Jerry Jr; and her sister, Barbara “Bobbie” Dildy.

Dolores is survived by her sons, Joseph and wife Julie and Charles and wife Erin; she was known as “Meemee” to her grandsons, Jason, Ryan, Jared and Noah Smith; great-grandchildren, Madison, Alivia, Drew Smith, Jayden Smith, Jace Ray, Titus, Atlas and Raelyn Smith; and her sister, Elaine Kneale Knafla.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, thrifting, collecting whatnots, figurines and working in the garden with her plants and flowers.

A Graveside Service will be held at Biloxi City Cemetery on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:00 am.
