Donald Gerald Hilderbrand, Sr

Donald “Donnie” Gerald Hilderbrand, age 73, of Biloxi, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother whose steady presence and unwavering dedication shaped the lives of all who knew him.

Donnie was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He built his life on hard work, integrity, and service to others. As the owner of D and H Towing and Auto Repair, he offered more than mechanical skills; he offered reliability, generosity, and a helping hand to anyone in need.

He loved his family fiercely and lived each day with a deep sense of responsibility and pride in the people he loved. His wisdom, quiet strength, and straightforward kindness leave a legacy that will be carried forward through the stories, values, and love he shared.

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Evon J. Hilderbrand and Gertrude Skinner Hilderbrand; and brother Thomas Derouen

Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ellen Hilderbrand; 3 children, Donald “Bo” Hilderbrand (Kemberly), Ronald “Ronnie” Hilderbrand, and Mary M. “Maggie” Hilderbrand; 7 grandchildren, Donald “BJ” Hilderbrand, Layla Story, Colby Hilderbrand, Courtney Story, Aubrey Story, Patricia Hilderbrand, and Elizabeth Hilderbrand; 8 great-grandchildren, Harper Hilderbrand, Donald “DJ” Hilderbrand, Brityn Paul, Kairi Hilderbrand, Gregory Webb, Serena Hilderbrand, AddiKate Webb, and Sutton Paul; and Sister Betty Albertson.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Friends may visit two hours prior. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
