Doris "Monk" Havard

Doris “Monk” Havard, 81, of Biloxi passed away Friday, June 24, 2016. Doris was born in Biloxi, where she remained a lifelong resident. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing and casinos; but, her passion was her family, especially her grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Havard; parents, Ollie and Mamie Lamey; and her siblings, Margie, Mabel and Curtis. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (John) Stojcich; sons, Ron (Lema) Havard, Mike (Cyn) Havard and Timmy (Teri) Havard; sister, Margaret Havard; brothers, Chester (Sylvia) Lamey, Ollie Lamey Jr. and John Lamey; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. An 11:30 a.m. graveside service will follow at Swetman Cemetery in D’Iberville.
