Dorothy Norris Carroll

Dorothy Norris Carroll, age 79, of Gautier, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Dorothy was a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1960 and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Gautier. She was a very loving, caring and compassionate person who was known for her generosity. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Buford Q. Norris and Willie M Carroll; parents, Ebbie and Janie Jones; 3 sisters; and 3 brothers. Survivors include, daughter, Judy Orr; sons, Greg and Steve Norris; sister, Mary Edwards; brother, Buford Jones; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandsons. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Service will be Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
