Dorothy "Dot" Hester

Dorothy "Dot" Lidier Freeman Hester, 86 of Vancleave, MS passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 peacefully at her residence. She was born on January 29, 1938 in Biloxi, MS to Lidier "Cotton" and Elsie Freeman. Dot was a loving mother, devoted wife with a firey spirit who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Lidier "Cotton" and Elsie Freeman; spouse, Dalton Hester; son, Keith Hester; brother, Leo Freeman; and great- grandson, Jayden Hester.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori (Edward) Peltz, Shari Hester, and Donna (David) McMillian; Grandchildren, Rachel Shaddix, Daniel Hardwick, Jennifer Smith, and Chelsea Hester; Great- Grandchildren, Hayleigh Poole, Jewels Shaddix, Eli Richburg, Bryce Hardwick, Emma Haralson, Sidney Hardwick, and Nathaniel Hardwick; and siblings, Raymond Freeman, Lois Smith, and Rosemary Catchot.

No services will be held.
