Dorothy Mae Duggan Lund

Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Mae Duggan Lund, 84, of Biloxi, MS, went to be with her heavenly Father Friday, January 21, 2011. Mrs. Lund had worked over twenty years at the Biloxi Veterans Administration in the Dietetics Department where she received many achievement awards. She loved flower gardening, dancing, jazz music and crossword puzzles. But most of all she loved her family with all her heart and looked forward to family get-togethers. Mrs. Lund was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred James "A.J." Lund, Jr.; parents, Charles "Charlie" Duggan, Sr. and Clara Eldora Ross "Dora" Duggan; sister, Evelyn DeLapp; and brothers, George Duggan and Charles Duggan, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Ladnier, Pam (Chris) McIntosh; son, Randy (Donna) Lund; six grandchildren, Scott Ladnier, Stacey (Jeff) Tufo, Chip Rhodes, Jamie (Kenny) Rhodes-Thornton, Michelle Lund and Melissa Lund; three great granddaughters, Skylar Ladnier, Lexi Tufo and McKenzie Thornton; and one sister, Melanie Raymond. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2011, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
