Mrs. Dorothy Pearl Morgan, 77, of D'Iberville, MS died Monday, January 31, 2005, in D'Iberville. Mrs. Morgan was a native of Hattiesburg, MS and had been a lifelong resident of the coast. She was Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ann Grayson Chapter #50, of Biloxi. She was a homemaker and a member of Berean Baptist Church in Wiggins. Mrs. Morgan was the Matriarch of five generations. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Harry Lee Morgan and her her parents, Edward and Ruby Pearl Bryant Clinton. Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Ann Goff and her husband, Marshall, of D'Iberville and Sandra Lee McQueen and her husband, DeWayn, of Perkinston; a son, Jerry Morgan and his wife, Patty, of D'Iberville; six sisters, Bonnie Pitts of Pearl, MS, Joyce Dulier, Peggy Campell, Carolyn Clark, Alice Thornton and Hope Morgan all of Biloxi; two brothers, Harold Clinton and Ricky Clinton; Eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 3, 2005, at 11 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Burial will follow in Bibleway Baptist Church Cemetery in D'Iberville.
