Dorothy Nell McDaniel Lancaster

Mrs. Dorothy Nell McDaniel Lancaster, age 71, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Monday, February 28, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Lancaster was born in Aberdeen, MS., and was a former resident of Montgomery, AL, where she operated a motel/lounge. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Lancaster, Sr. She is survived by a daughter, Denise Hemphill, four sons, William M. Lancaster, Jr., Scott Olen Lancaster, Britt M. Wright, all of Ocean Springs, and Lance E. Wright of Montgomery, AL., a sister, Charlie Lawrence of Orlando, FL., five grandchildren, Allison Cantello, Marcus Wright, William Hemphill, Joseph Hemphill, and Shawn Hemphill, and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 3, 2005, from 6-9 PM, in the Ocean Springs Stateroom at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, March 4, 2005, there will be a 1 PM chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
