Douglas M. Nelson

Douglas M. Nelson, Sr., 46, of Ocean Springs passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2006. Mr. Nelson had been a resident of the coastal community for 12 years. He was a very devoted father, husband, son and was a caring person always willing to help others. He loved his computer and the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Teresita Nelson; a daughter, Jennifer (Casey) Straka of Biloxi; a son, Douglas Matthew Nelson, Jr. of Brockport, NY; a brother, Donald Nelson of Sunrise, FL and his parents, David and Della Nelson of Ocean Springs. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A graveside funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2006 in the Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity.
