Dr. Anthony "Tony" Galle

Dr. Anthony (Tony) Galle, age 76, of Vancleave, MS., died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, in Ocean Springs, MS. Dr. Galle was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and a veteran of the U.S. Army Paratrooper 101st Airborne. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School Class of 1954 and attended Perkinston Junior College. He excelled in Track and Field in high school and at Perkinston, was an artist, naturalist and avid fisherman and had a lifelong interest in archeology. He graduated from Palmer University of Chiropractic in 1963 and practiced in Ocean Springs for 45 years until his time of passing. Dr. Galle was preceded in death by his father, Rexall Galle, mother, Ruth Galle, son, David Galle and grandson, Travis Wooden. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Martha Susan Galle, daughter, Tonia Bond (Louis R.), two sons, Edward (Jennifer) Galle and Thaddeus (Colleen) Galle, brother, Paul A. (Fran) Galle, five grandsons, Justin, Jacob, Anthony, David Caleb and Thaddeus, three great-grandchildren, Ava, Matias and Tristan, and a world of patients/friends. Visitation will be on Friday, April 22, 2011, from 6 pm until 9 pm, at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Saturday, April 23, 2011, there will be an 11 am church service at Vancleave United Methodist Church, where friends may visit from 10 am until 11 am. Burial will follow in Vancleave #1 Cemetery.
